Although the University may have a reputation for being anti-corporate and has limited business-related course offerings, Professor Emeritus of Engineering Barrett Hazeltine estimates he may have advised nearly a hundred burgeoning businesses over the years. The three companies profiled offer only a snapshot of start-ups flourishing at Brown. Entrepreneurship, said Hazeltine, "is infectious."
