The Undergraduate Council of Students reviewed proposed amendments to the Undergraduate Finance Board's constitution at their general body meeting Wednesday.

Among UFB's suggested amendments was a proposal that it appoint its own members, who would then be subject to approval by UCS. The amendment states that after publicizing any vacancies on UFB to the larger council, UCS would advertise the open position to the student body.

The Board would then hear presentations from prospective members. These presentations would be followed by a closed vote which would be subject to approval by one-third of UCS. Members of UFB are currently selected and approved by UCS with no input from UFB.
UCS will debate and vote on UFB's proposals at their general body meeting next Wednesday.
