The women’s crew team launched its spring campaign in auspicious fashion, defeating two Ivy rivals and one non-conference foe over the past two weeks.

Tommy Glenn ’14 races toward the finish. Glenn won and set a pool record in the 100 and 200 fly races this weekend, and his time in the 200 fly set an Ivy Championships record, immediately qualifying him for the NCAA finals. Despite Glenn’s strong performance, Bruno finished in seventh.

The men’s swimming and diving team finished seventh overall at the Ivy League championships this weekend at Harvard, posting the same result as last year.

Briana Borgolini ’14 swims to a second-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke Saturday. Her efforts helped clinch sixth place for Brown.

The women’s swimming and diving team took to the pool for the Ivy League Championships over the weekend, competing at home.

Cory Mayfield ’16 swims freestyle. Mayfield entered three events — the 500 free, 1000 free and 200 free relay — and finished third, fifth and sixth. Brown men’s swimmers won six of their 14 events.

When the swimming and diving teams took to the pool against Yale in their final dual meet of the season Saturday, the Bulldogs proved best in show.

Tommy Glenn ’14 set a pool record in the 100-yard butterfly on his way to scoring one-fifth of Bruno’s total points against Cornell this weekend. He also won the 100-yard and 200-yard freestyle events.
