Writing Fellows program narrows scope

The structure of the Writing Fellows program has changed this semester so that only students in writing fellows-designated courses are paired with fellows. Students not enrolled in these courses can still access writing help through the Writing Center. In previous semesters, any student seeking help with their writing could be paired with a fellow through the Writing Center.

EMS transports drop as U. targets underage drinking

There was a decrease in the number of students transported by Brown Emergency Medical Services during orientation and the first weekend of classes compared to the same period last year, said Margaret Klawunn, vice president of campus life and student services. The drop comes in the wake of new initiatives by administrators to reduce underage alcohol purchasing.
