Though his focus lies with his more successful sports teams like the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics, Manchester City and North Carolina basketball, Brown athletics will always be on Matt's twitter timeline through tick and thin. And he'll wear a Patriots James Develin jersey on Saturday and Sunday to prove it.

After splitting the season series with Harvard and winning three of its last four games against the Crimson, the men’s hockey team had high hopes.

Zach Pryzbek ’17 skates up the ice in the teams’ last matchup. Tyler Bird ’18 and Nick Lappin ’16 got the Bears’ two goals in their 2-1 win over the Crimson, which marked the third time that Brown beat Harvard in its last four tries. The best-of-three series starts Friday at 7 p.m. in Cambridge.

Since the men’s hockey team registered its first conference win of the season in December, it has remained firmly rooted in the 11th spot in the ECAC.

Tim Ernst ’17 blocked 34 shots in Saturday’s loss to Colgate.  Ernst has made many crucial saves and protected the Bears in overtime against Cornell.

Brown’s win against Harvard two weeks ago began a three-win streak. Mark Naclerio ’16 and all the other members of the Bears’ first line scored goals against Rensselaer for a decisive 6-3 victory Friday.
