Last week, CEO of Amazon Jeff Bezos announced a wage hike for all employees — everyone, even temporary employees, would make at least $15 an hour.

Because Amazon requested an affiliated higher education program as part of the application package, Brown contributed to the proposal by helping design a talent development partnership plan called Amazon Academy.
