Brown Daily Herald plans to move after 50 years at 195 Angell Street

After fifty years in the same location, The Brown Daily Herald will be moving its newsroom from 195 Angell Street to 88 Benevolent Street. The move is scheduled to take place over winter break and to coincide with the annual change of The Herald’s editorial board.

The newly constructed hall provides additional study and social spaces for students and faculty. Meanwhile, the Watson Institute of International and Public Affairs is at the heart of several new University Initiatives, which include an increased emphasis on research.

The Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs opened the doors to Stephen Robert Hall Dec. 10, a new addition meant to facilitate collaborative learning for University community members, according to Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs Director Edward Steinfeld.
