Mosaic+ supports minority CS concentrators

Students of color studying computer science often feel underrepresented in their field, according to data from the National Science Foundation.

The University will classify DACA-status and undocumented students as domestic applicants beginning fall 2017, whereas previously these students were admitted on a need-aware basis similar to the process for international and transfer students.

The DIAP’s proposed mentoring programs aim to address the unique issues women, minorities, LGBTQ+ and first-generation college students face at Brown.
