Recent alum wins primary for Mass state legislature

Solomon Goldstein-Rose ’16 won the Democratic state primary for the Third Hampshire District seat in Massachusetts Sept. 8.

After increased course offerings and new faculty hires, the environmental studies and sciences department responded to student demands for a new track focusing on inequality and injustices within environmental issues. The track is slated to be officially approved by the spring.
