The University received a $3 million gift from David Given ’75 to fund the Jeanette and Richard Given Men’s Ice Hockey Head Coaching Position last month. This is the largest coaching gift ever made to the University, wrote Director of Athletics and Recreation Jack Hayes in an email to The Herald.

BrownTogether fundraising pace picks up

The University’s BrownTogether fundraising campaign has raised $1.88 billion to date toward its $3 billion goal, according to Senior Vice President for Advancement Sergio Gonzalez.

Mayor Jorge Elorza’s has raised $698,449.96 for his re-election campaign, with $664,229.67 accounting for expenses and liabilities.
