Warren Kanders ’79, a prominent University donor, recently resigned from his position as vice chair of the Whitney Museum of American Art, which should serve as a reminder of why Brown must cut its financial ties with Kanders.

The department aims to add eight to 10 new faculty members, including two endowed chairs, which should help to increase faculty interaction with undergraduates.
