Former University professor wins Genius Grant

When writer and former University professor John Keene received a call from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, he thought they were going to ask him for his opinion on other writers.

Oludurotimi Adetunji, Associate Dean of the college for undergraduate research and inclusive science, said faculty feedback prompted the change.

UTRA program to cover research costs

Leadership Alliance earns Mellon Foundation grant

The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation awarded the Leadership Alliance a $1.25 million grant that will fund summer research opportunities in the humanities and social sciences “for underrepresented students,” according to a University press release.
