History froze Rosa Parks in the moment she refused to get up from her seat in Montgomery, Alabama, according to Anthony Bogues, professor of humanities and critical theory, and Jeanne Theoharis, author of “The Rebellious Life of Mrs. Rosa Parks” and professor at Brooklyn College.

The United Health Infrastructure Project obstructed many residents from receiving their benefits. The discussion also highlighted the state’s poor timeliness rate for the processing of food stamp applications.
