As Former President of Mexico Ernesto Zedillo spoke on globalism and contemporary politics as part of the 89th Ogden Lecture series in Salomon Hall Monday night, he explained that “this episode of American mercantilism can hardly have a happy ending simply because it has been launched on many wrong premises.”

John Krasinski ’01 stepped out of his comfort zone to direct his horror film “A Quiet Place.” Krasinski stars in the film, which features the struggles of a family in an apocalyptic world,  with his wife, actress Emily Blunt.

For nearly a decade, John Krasinski ’01 was best known for his role as Dunder Mifflin paper salesman Jim Halpert on the NBC comedy “The Office,” playing pranks on Dwight and staring down the camera with a knowing expression and a charming shrug.

The first to attend college in her immediate family, Diane Lipscombe  will succeed Richard Huganir as president of the Society for Neuroscience.
