The illustrious college career of captain Dennis Robertson ’14 came to an end against St. Lawrence this weekend. The first-team All-Ivy defenseman will start his NHL career in the Carolina Hurricanes’ system later this month.

The men’s hockey team saw its season come to an end this weekend after losing twice to St. Lawrence on the road.

Defenseman Jake Goldberg ’14 looks for an open teammate. Goldberg will have his hands full this weekend against a St. Lawrence offense that has scored 3.29 goals per game — the third-best mark in the ECAC.

Men’s hockey travels to N.Y. for ECAC first round

The men’s hockey team begins its conference tournament journey on the road this weekend, starting its best-of-three series against St. Lawrence tonight.

Brown will travel to St. Lawrence next weekend in a best-of-three playoff series. The Saints come into the playoffs after a weekend split, falling 8-0 to Quinnipiac Friday and beating Princeton 5-0 Saturday afternoon.

With home ice on the line in this weekend’s homestand, Bruno collapsed, scoring no goals and falling to ninth in the conference.

Matt Lorito ’15 brings the puck up the ice.  Lorito and fellow forwards Mark Naclerio ’16 and Nick Lappin ’16 have accounted for 94 points this season, or 48 percent of the team’s total offensive production.

Kyle Kramer ’17 skates along the boards. The first-year was promoted to Bruno’s top line recently and has responded by recording two assists in the team’s last three games.
