The harrowing loss was the second of the weekend and third consecutive this season, following a 7-3 defeat Saturday against Dartmouth, in which the Big Green scored six unanswered goals against Bruno.

After the men’s ice hockey team lost to Holy Cross 7-5 in its home opener, the signs of an electric offense and a mistake-prone defense were obvious.

Men’s hockey to cross Atlantic for tournament

Brown will take a cross-Atlantic trip to Belfast, Northern Ireland over Thanksgiving this year for the first-ever Festival of Ice Hockey tournament.

Matt Lorito ’15 has defended Brown’s side of the rink for four years. He and two of his teammates, Matt Harlow ‘15 and Massimo Lamacchia ‘15, signed amateur tryout agreements with the Albany Devils, Elmira Jackals and Greenville Road Warriors, respectively. All three teams are minor league affiliates of NHL teams.
