The No. 3 men’s lacrosse team has done it again. After dismantling Cornell Saturday, the Bears (12-1, 5-0) clinched a second straight Ivy League title.

Larken Kemp ‘17 defends in the midfield. Kemp helped the defense limit Yale to just three goals in the second half, ensuring the 14-12 victory.

After dropping a game against in-state rival Bryant for its first loss of the season, Bruno got back on track by cruising past Ivy League foe Penn Saturday.

Dylan Molloy ’17 looks to score against Princeton in Saturday’s contest. The junior tallied six goals and five assists to help the Bears to an impressive 19-8 victory. He currently leads the nation in points per game at 6.38.

The No. 3 men’s lacrosse team did not have a traditional spring break. The Bears were busy playing No. 6 Villanova and conference rival Princeton.

Kylor Bellistri ’16 is just one of the key pieces of Bruno’s high-powered offense this season, leading the team with 23 goals and adding 6 assists.

Saturday’s contest at Harvard Stadium was certainly not for the faint of heart.

Senior captain Jack Kelly ’16 clears the ball, igniting the Bears’ up-tempo offense. Kelly is first in the nation in save percentage and has led Bruno to a 5-0 start. Saturday, the captain will likely be tested by No. 14 Harvard.

There was plenty of hype surrounding the men’s lacrosse team before the season started in February, and excitement was high for good reason.

In their game against the Michigan Wolverines, the Bears built up a strong 20-3 lead before the fourth quarter began. The team gave younger players turf time during the fourth quarter and came away with a 22-8 win.
