This month, the University modified its paid sick and safe leave policies to be in compliance with the Rhode Island Sick and Safe Leave Act, signed into law by Gov. Gina Raimondo last year and put into effect this summer.

The Twin River Casino in Lincoln rolled out sports betting Monday following state legalization in June 2018. As of Nov. 26, the casino is the only place in New England to have introduced legal sports betting.
