Rose Lang-Maso ’20 was selected as one of 62 winners of the 2019 Truman Scholarship Thursday, according to the Truman Foundation’s website. The scholarship awards college juniors from across the country who demonstrate high academic achievement and a strong commitment to public service.

With its 35-member spring 2018 cohort, the University produced the most Fulbright scholars of any U.S. institution for the third consecutive year, according to data published by The Chronicle of Higher Education Feb. 10.

The University hopes that offering new MFA scholarships for acting and directing will diversify the incoming class and minimize student debt.
