Brown swept by Columbia in three-game homestand

The baseball team was swept by Columbia at home this weekend and lost its first game Friday 8-2 before falling in both games of a doubleheader 5-4 and 2-0 Saturday.

Co-captain Claire Ryan ’18 capped off her collegiate gymnastics career with a fourth-place finish on the uneven bars. Ryan recorded a career-high 9.850 on the event during the preliminary session Friday.

Bears dominate Tigers in series finale, drop three-game home series

The baseball team earned its second shutout victory of the season with a 12-0 win over Princeton Sunday, after dropping two contests of a three-game series to the Tigers Saturday.

After previously falling to Princeton, Yale and Penn, the Bears notched a notable victory against Cornell to win their first Ivy League game of the season. Bruno will travel to Harvard and Columbia in the next two weekends before finishing the season in a home matchup against Dartmouth.

Women’s lacrosse goes on six-goal run to beat Cornell

Entering the weekend, the women’s lacrosse team hoped to secure its first Ivy League victory of the season against a No. 23 ranked Cornell team. The Bears (8-4, 1-3 Ivy) did just that, as a second-half comeback proved enough to down Cornell (6-5, 2-2 Ivy) in a nail-biter finish.
