For the most part, baseball writers watched and described baseball the same way from about 1860 to 2001, give or take a few years either way.

Tyler Devlin ’17, Daniel Xiang ’17, Daniel Kunin ’17 and Jingru Guo were inspired by computer science classes some had taken at Brown as well as the design experience brought from Guo’s time at RISD. The team began the project around the time of their graduation.
