The women’s basketball team continued its strong start Tuesday, defeating Providence College 57-47 for its second win of the season.

Jordin Alexander ’16 dribbles up the court, looking for an open teammate. Alexander employed her quickness and trusty midrange jump shot to contribute 16 points and help lift the Bears over Bethune-Cookman University.

The women’s basketball team traveled to Florida for its season opener Friday, beginning on a high note with a 68-61 victory over Bethune-Cookman University.

The men’s and women’s basketball teams traveled to Italy for 10 days at the end of August for four games of competitive basketball and incredible sights.

Unable to contain either opponent’s explosive offense, the women’s basketball team fell to Dartmouth and Harvard over the weekend.
