In the final dual meet of the regular season Saturday, the wrestling team found its form in a dominating 37-6 rout of EIWA opponent Hofstra.

The Bears got off to a slow start against Harvard but slowly worked their way back into the match. Despite strong efforts from Justin Staudenmayer ’17 and Steven Galiardo ’17, Bruno eventually fell 25-10.

The wrestling team split its weekend contests as it traveled to Cambridge to face Harvard and Johnson and Wales, coming away with a loss and win.

“I absolutely believe that wrestling against these nationally ranked teams does more good than harm,” Justin Staudenmayer ’17 said. “It provides our team with great exposure and allows us to see where we need to be come March.”  Bruno will head to Cambridge next weekend to compete against Harvard and Johnson and Wales.
