Children have fun with Herald columnist John Brougher '06 during a Chinese New Year celebration playgroup organized by China Care Brown for adopted Chinese children and their families on Saturday. China Care Brown is a nonprofit organization established by Andrew Puschel '05, Kyle Wood '05 and other Brown students in 2004. The group's primary goal is to improve the quality of life for children living in Chinese orphanages. Among its goals are to provide orphans with basic necessities such as clothing, bedding, food and medical supplies, help facilitate adoptions by American parents and provide surgeries for children with both external and internal deformities.
