The women’s water polo team defeated No. 22 Marist College at home Saturday in their final game of the season.

Tomlinson ’20 earned his first win of the season as he allowed just two runs in seven innings in Brown’s 7-3 victory over Cornell Sunday.

With an ERA of 3.43 going into the season, right-handed pitcher Will Tomlinson ’20 (1-3) is proving to be a core asset to the Brown baseball program. He led the Bears (8-18, 5-4 Ivy) in a sweep of Cornell at an away series over the weekend.

Brown and Penn were the only undefeated Ivy League teams going into their matchup Saturday. The game celebrated the 50th anniversary of Brown’s 1969 champion team winning the school’s first Ivy title in lacrosse.

Men’s lacrosse lose battle for top of Ivy League

The men’s lacrosse team was defeated in a battle for first place in the Ivy League Saturday in a 16 -9 loss against Penn at Stevenson-Pincince Field.

Masood, a two time NCAA Championships qualifier and captain of Brown’s men’s fencing team, closed out his college career with a 93.33 win percentage and 28-2 record. He was previously NFC’s Men’s Rookie of the Year in 2016 and has won All-Ivy honors. For his performances this season, Masood has been named The Herald’s Athlete of the Week.
