GSC cuts back on funding for student groups due to stagnant student fees following pandemic

The Graduate Student Council will limit the potential maximum amount of funding that recognized graduate student organizations may receive for this academic year, the Executive Board announced at the Council’s first meeting of the semester Wednesday evening. 

The six athletes represent Palestine, Canada, the United States and Guam in the Games.

Five Brown alums and one current student are currently competing in the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics: Hanna Barakat ’22, Janet Leung ’16, Cicely Madden ’18, Alex Miklasevich ’19, Jagger Stephens ’20 and Anders Weiss ’15.

Center for Study of Race and Ethnicity, Nelson Center for Entrepreneurship create joint grant program to address anti-Black racism

The Center for the Study of Race and Ethnicity in America and the Nelson Center for Entrepreneurship established a new grant program to provide funding for students who create and lead projects that address anti-Black and systemic racism, according to a Feb. 11 Today@Brown announcement. 

The search committee consists of administrators, faculty members, staff and students, and it will release a decision on Delalue's replacement by September.
