M. water polo goes 1-2 at Easterns

The men's water polo team traveled to Cambridge, Mass. this past weekend to face Bucknell, MIT and Fordham in the Eastern Division Championships. After falling to Bucknell, 8-6, the Bears defeated MIT in overtime, 7-6, but lost to Fordham, 8-7.

While much of the student body relaxed over the long weekend, the men's water polo team traveled to Massachusetts to face Harvard and Iona. After a 15-8 win against Harvard on Saturday, the team fell to Iona the following day, 10-9.

M. water polo gaining momentum, chemistry

In the past week the men's water polo team beat the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, 6-5, and Fordham, 11-9, then fell to St. Francis by a score of 12-5. Despite the loss, the team is improving, and its "chemistry" is strengthening with each game, said Head Coach Felix Mercado.
