Brittany Raphino ’23 has scored four goals in her last three games for the women’s soccer team and has posted 19 points on the season. Bruno is currently leading the Ivy League with a 5-0-0 conference record and a 12-1-1 overall performance and is set to close out the season a week from tomorrow.

Saturday’s victory with goals from Raphino ’23 extended Brown’s winning streak to 12. Big Red ranks last in the the Ivy League conference.

The women’s soccer team entered Saturday’s game against Cornell leading the Ivy League with an 11-1-1 record and a dominant presence on the field. The Big Red was well aware of Brown’s prowess — as Chance the Rapper so famously said, “They don’t want no problems, want no problems with Brown.”

Schuyler Bailar, the first transgender athlete to compete on a NCAA Division 1 men’s team, spoke last Thursday about his experience of transitioning in the middle of his Harvard swimming career.

After beating Harvard Saturday, the women’s soccer team will take a break from league play to face off against the University of Vermont this Wednesday.

As a forward on the women’s soccer team, Star White ’21 has lived up to her stellar name and posted a trio of goals on the season. White helped the Bears to a five-game shutout win streak at the beginning of the year, and has been a key contributor in the team’s victories.

In the first match of the seven-game Ivy League schedule, the Bears looked to rebound from last week’s 1-0 loss to Villanova. They managed a 2-1 win over Dartmouth with goals from Charcio ’20 and White ’21.

Star White ’21 scored two goals with assists from Ava Seelenfreund ’23 to help cement Bruno’s 5-0 win over the Stags. Brown was unable to secure a second victory against Villanova at the end of the weekend.

Chance the Rapper’s “No Problem” blared out of the speakers, practically warning the Stags that they did not want any problems with Bruno, who entered the game 5-0-1 with five consecutive shutouts.
