The men’s lacrosse team pulled off one of the biggest upsets in the program’s recent memory Saturday, defeating No. 3 Cornell 10-9 in Ithaca. A goal from Sam Hurster ’14 with four seconds remaining handed the Big Red (9-2, 4-1 Ivy) its first conference loss this season and snapped Cornell’s six-game winning streak. The victory keeps the Bears (6-7, 2-3) in contention for the final Ivy League playoff spot.

The men’s wrestling team earned three big home wins this past weekend, putting the squad in contention for second place in the Ivy League standings. Bruno defeated Boston University 19-16 and Roger Williams 41-9 Saturday and took down Ivy rival Harvard 22-17 Sunday before falling to Lehigh 35-3. The victories give the Bears momentum heading into the Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association Championships in early March.
