The Rhode Island House of Representatives passed legislation which would increase the minimum wage to $15 an hour by 2025, in a vote of 58 to 16 May 6.

More than 150 people turned in a written testimony and over 60 people gave a verbal testimony in support of the bills, said Sasha Berkoff, organizer for Never Again Action.
