The men’s and women’s basketball teams traveled to Italy for 10 days at the end of August for four games of competitive basketball and incredible sights.
The women’s volleyball team began its Ivy League schedule with a loss against Yale Friday in New Haven.
Payton Smith ’17 has been instrumental to the volleyball team’s efforts so far this season, and the middle blocker was particularly prolific last weekend.
Brown (3-0) held its own against PC, and the squad currently boasts an undefeated record. Rookie Jack Hagstrom ’19 has been crucial to the team’s efforts.
After a brief stint in the Ocean State, the volleyball team hit the road to attend the NMSU-UTEP Borderland Classic in El Paso, Texas and Las Cruces, N.M.
While many students made their return trips to College Hill, the volleyball team was en route to Fairfield, Connecticut.
Several softball players have left the team over the last three seasons after allegedly being bullied by Head Coach Katie Flynn.
The team defended its title, tying Cornell for first place overall after finishing second in the color belt division and third in the black belt division.
Students explored the role the University plays in restricting or enabling speech, as well as the effectiveness of safe spaces on college campuses.
