RISD Graduate Program Director Jackie Gendel stated that the show provided a “sense of diversity of the kind of students we have.” Gendel pointed out that every piece on display was unique to the individual’s style, addressing a myriad of different student interests through their work.

At the talk, Steven A. Wartman discussed data and medicine. He pointed to certain estimates which predict there could eventually be as many as 10,000 data points on any patient. "This requires physicians to have a deeper understanding” of how data works and how to effectively communicate their findings, Wartman said.


Kalikoonāmaukūpuna Kalāhiki ’24 said that NAB aims to create a space for its members to honor their distinct identities as Native and Indigenous students by allowing members to share their backgrounds and experiences.
