Four University computer science students were recognized during the selection process of the 2021 Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher Awards. Nishanth Kumar ’21 was selected as one of 23 finalists, and Sarah Bawabe ’21, Dylan Sam ’21 and Homer Walke ’21 were acknowledged as honorable mentions. 

The Carnegie Center for the Advancement of Teaching recognized the community outreach efforts of the Swearer Center, including HOPE, a program that fights homelessness in Providence.

The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching designated the University as a recipient of the Carnegie Community Engagement Classification Jan. 31.

The men’s and women’s soccer teams garnered average GPAs of 3.44 and 3.58 in the 2018-2019 academic year, respectively.
