Tong ’95 elected Connecticut’s first Asian-American attorney general

In the early hours of Nov. 16, William Tong ’95 won the race to be Connecticut’s attorney general. Tong will be Connecticut’s first-ever Asian-American constitutional officer, the country’s second Asian-American state attorney general and the first elected Chinese-American state attorney general.

Childhood dreams came true for Brown track and field alum Evan Weinstock ’14 when he was selected to represent the United States in bobsled and skeleton at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

Vanessa Britto MSc’96 was chosen in part for her exceptional leadership qualities and clear vision, said director of CAPS Will Meek.
