The women’s swimming and diving team placed fifth at the 2020 Ivy League Championships, finishing the four-day event with 843 points. Princeton won the meet with 1,569 points, edging second-place Harvard, which finished with 1,462 points.

In Sarah Behn’s tenure as head coach of the women’s basketball team, the Bears have accumulated an Ivy League record of 20-60, with a conference-winning percentage of 25.0 over that span.

Brown University Band will not perform at women’s basketball games in protest of Head Coach

The Brown University Band announced they will not be playing at women’s basketball home games for the remainder of the 2019-2020 season, citing allegations circulating about the conduct of women’s basketball Head Coach Sarah Behn.

Tamenang Choh ’21 (above) and the Bears fell to a fourth place conference ranking after topping Columbia and losing to Cornell. Bruno takes on Princeton and Penn this weekend at the Pizzitola Sports Center.

The University’s long-standing student-athlete tutoring program, which grants individualized scheduling and attention for students juggling athletics and academics, has grown in recent years to best accommodate athletes’ unique demands.

Brent Beaudoin ’20 scored twice to give the Bears an early lead over Quinnipiac Saturday night. With six games remaining in the regular season, the team aims to secure home ice advantage for the first round of the playoffs in March. The Bears will face off next against Dartmouth and Harvard this week.

Following a road trip to New York last week, the men’s hockey team earned a lucrative three points over the weekend, eclipsing Princeton 4-3 in a comeback victory Friday and tying No. 16 Quinnipiac University 2-2 Saturday.

Katie Klein ’22, an attacker, led the team in scoring with 54 successful shots and came third in opponent ejections drawn at 31.

Katie Klein ’22 helped the women’s water polo team achieve five victories over the weekend in their first tournament of the season. She converted 12 goals in six games while guiding her team to a 5-1 record, with the only loss coming to No. 18 Wagner College.

The women’s soccer team earned a 14-2-3 overall record in 2019 and rolled through the Ivy League with a 6-0-1 mark.

The success of the women’s soccer team is no secret. This past season alone, the Bears won the highly coveted title of Ivy League Champions and advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament.

The Bears grabbed their first two wins in the Ivy League competition, increasing their chances of qualifying for the postseason. They won against Cornell 74-63 Friday and beat Columbia Saturday 72-66.

The men’s basketball team entered the weekend knowing the reality of its situation — the Bears risked dropping to 0-4 in league play with two losses, which would make an Ivy League tournament appearance that much harder.

Following their New York road trip, the Bears will return to Meehan Auditorium to host conference opponents No. 18 Quinnipiac University and Princeton this weekend.
