In 2013, President Christina Paxson P’19 unveiled her 10-year strategic plan, “Building on Distinction.” The plan called upon the Brown community to “enhance our capacity in the creative use of online technologies” through “aggressive experimentation in new modes of education.”

Phi Beta Kappa elects 34 new members

Thirty-four members of the class of 2019 were elected to the University’s Phi Beta Kappa Society Feb. 6, wrote Chapter Administrator Mary Jo Foley in an email to The Herald.

Approximately 20 students attended the CCC’s public forum on Monday. The University’s current drop date deadline is one of the latest in the Ivy League, but students expressed concerns about moving the date forward.
