As many students sat down in their childhood bedrooms in early March, confronted with remote classes or omnipresent families, they began to give in and download TikTok — the short-form video content platform first created in September of 2016 under the original moniker of Musical.ly.

Meyers, who hosts “Late Night with Seth Meyers on NBC,” made his stand-up comedy debut in a special which premiered Nov. 5 on Netflix. Meyers joked about the challenges of fatherhood and recounted the memorable delivery stories of his two sons. The show provides a humanizing and vulnerable look at Meyers outside of his talk show persona.

Last Sunday night, Out of Bounds, a student-run comedy sketch group that lists “The Office” actor John Krasinski ’01 among its alums, brought laughter to Macmillan 117 with sketches and short comedic videos that parodied the banalities of University student life.

Comedians, both seasoned and novice, addressed an array of topics in their sets. The event was hosted by co-editors of The Rib, a humor publication written by women and people of other marginalized genders.
