Watson Institute expands size, scope of Student Advisory Committee

The Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs has expanded the size and scope of its Student Advisory Committee, which will organize events, provide student input on changes at the Watson Institute and build the Institute’s presence on campus.

The Downtown Design Review Committee met with Fane Tower’s lead designer on Monday for a pre-approval review of the building proposal.

Hope Point Tower is one step closer to approval following a public meeting between the tower’s design team and the Downtown Design Review Committee, which together evaluated the building’s proposed design Monday afternoon.

Seny Kamara, associate professor of computer science, served on the committee that discussed cybersecurity issues in the 21st century.
