Mary Jo Callan will step into the role of executive director of the University’s Swearer Center for Public Service and associate dean for engaged scholarship May 17, according to a University news release.

Kaling is currently working on a new show, "Sex Lives of College Girls," which will be released by HBO Max later this year.

Mathew Johnson, associate dean of the College for engaged scholarship and director of the Carnegie Foundation Community Engagement Classification, stepped down from his position as executive director of the Swearer Center March 1.
