Collectively, the professors found shattered stained glass, pottery, skeletons, mud-caked fruits and miniature goats.

Six University professors presented findings from their summer archaeological fieldwork to students, faculty and other community members yesterday at the Joukowsky Institute for Archaeology.

Director Tim Slade explains the importance of preserving cultural heritage sites before a screening of his documentary. Slade’s film is the first in The Joukowsky Institute for Archaeology’s “Combating Crisis” series.
