The No. 3 men’s lacrosse team did not have a traditional spring break. The Bears were busy playing No. 6 Villanova and conference rival Princeton.

Kylor Bellistri ’16 is just one of the key pieces of Bruno’s high-powered offense this season, leading the team with 23 goals and adding 6 assists.

The men’s lacrosse team has started its season with a bang: The team is 6-0 and ranked No. 4 nationally.

Face-off specialist Will Gural ’16 brings the ball up the field. The senior won 14 of 21 face-offs to help lead Bruno to a victory over the Crimson.

Saturday’s contest at Harvard Stadium was certainly not for the faint of heart.

Senior captain Jack Kelly ’16 clears the ball, igniting the Bears’ up-tempo offense. Kelly is first in the nation in save percentage and has led Bruno to a 5-0 start. Saturday, the captain will likely be tested by No. 14 Harvard.

There was plenty of hype surrounding the men’s lacrosse team before the season started in February, and excitement was high for good reason.

In their game against the Michigan Wolverines, the Bears built up a strong 20-3 lead before the fourth quarter began. The team gave younger players turf time during the fourth quarter and came away with a 22-8 win.
