The men’s basketball team rallied from 11 points down in the first half against Penn Friday to dominate the second half and emerge with a 75-63 road victory. But the Bears failed to make another comeback against Princeton Saturday, falling behind by 13 at halftime and eventually losing 73-54.

Brent Beaudoin ’20 scored twice to give the Bears an early lead over Quinnipiac Saturday night. With six games remaining in the regular season, the team aims to secure home ice advantage for the first round of the playoffs in March. The Bears will face off next against Dartmouth and Harvard this week.

Following a road trip to New York last week, the men’s hockey team earned a lucrative three points over the weekend, eclipsing Princeton 4-3 in a comeback victory Friday and tying No. 16 Quinnipiac University 2-2 Saturday.

Senior Co-Captain Jackson Goebel ’20 scored the first goal for the Bears in the 14th minute past Princeton goalkeeper Jacob Schachner.

Facing a 0-1 conference record and a four-game losing streak, the men’s soccer team entered their matchup against Princeton Saturday in need of a win to stay competitive in the Ivy League.

At 103 minutes and 30 seconds, the men’s hockey team’s 6-5 triple overtime victory over Princeton was the longest game in program history and the 18th longest in NCAA Division I men’s hockey records.

The men’s hockey team defeated reigning ECAC champions Princeton in two games of a best-of-three playoff series at Meehan Auditorium this weekend, advancing to the quarterfinals for the first time since the 2012-13 season.

Desmond Cambridge ’21 carries the ball up the court in a win against Princeton Friday. The Bears fell to Penn the next day, eliminating them from the conference race. Harvard, Yale, Princeton and Penn advance to the 2019 Ivy League Tournament.

The men’s basketball team edged Princeton Friday but fell in a winner-take-all showdown against Penn Saturday, eliminating the Bears from the conference race and sending the Quakers to the Ivy League Tournament. Brown battled Penn in a tightly contested game, but Bruno’s 22 turnovers doomed the team in a 58-51 loss.

As the regular season came to a close, the Bears finished eighth in the ECAC. Bruno will host Princeton in a best-of-three series at Meehan Auditorium this weekend. The winner will advance to the quarterfinals next week.

Will Twyman ’17 purses a Harvard ballcarrier in a game at Brown Stadium earlier this year. The senior linebacker‘s performance was one of the lone bright spots Saturday, as he totaled 18 tackles, including 1.5 for loss.
