On Thayer Street, businesses that stay open watch sales plummet, cut jobs

Earlier this semester, a Monday afternoon on Thayer Street would mean students filling the windows of Blue State and Ceremony Tea, with lines stretching along the counters of Bajas or East Side Pockets. Now, the street is nearly deserted. 

This new location of Chase Bank on 234 Thayer Street will be the third bank, along with Santander and Citizen's Bank, that will be easily accessible for students living on and nearby campus.
