The softball team started the season off with a bang, winning four of five games at the Winthrop Invitational last weekend.
Last year, the softball team was 2-3 and had already allowed 28 runs. But this year already feels different, said co-captain Julia Schoenewald ’17.
The incoming class will certainly play an important role: The current roster lists five first-years, four of whom will compete for starting spots.
