To The Editor: Brown took a step toward gender equity in settling its Title IX lawsuit by reinstating two of the five women’s teams that were reduced to club status.

After reinstating the men’s varsity track, field and cross country teams, the University has been defending its compliance with Title IX.

The Office of Title IX and Gender Equity received 12 more reported incidents for the 2018-2019 year compared to the previous year, according to their Annual Outcome Outcomes report for 2018-2019 released May 1.
