The Foxy Lady is probably the premier strip club in New England. With two floors, five stages, even a shower for the dancers to "perform" in, the place is huge by strip club standards. Yes folks, right in the fair city of Providence - one of the last bastions of legal prostitution, mind you - is one of the best places in the region to go see females "dance" for your cash.
However, this isn't just about seeing the naked female form. No folks, this is about Friday morning. For those who go out on Thursday evenings for a bit of revelry, Friday morning can be a bitch. The rest of the world has no sympathy for your hung-over and exhausted condition. The normal schmucks who went to bed early for work or class go about their business while you cringe at the sun like it's trying to burn your eyes out.
Enter the Foxy Lady. Every Friday morning from 6-11:30 a.m., the club opens its doors to the huddled masses of the hung over (and the still drunk and wide awake, for that matter) for a nice little breakfast buffet. The promotion, appropriately dubbed "Legs and Eggs," features a breakfast buffet and a relatively normal strip club atmosphere. Need to get back on the horse after a rough night? Look no further.
While generally much busier at night, the club draws a decent enough crowd for the morning promotion so that you don't feel sleazy spending your morning ogling the dancers while downing some French toast. Only one of the large club's stages is open, but table dances, both nude and just topless, are still available.
The food is surprisingly decent considering, well, that it was made at a strip club. While the bacon wasn't great, the French toast and hash browns were standard diner fare. Then again, nobody is there for the food, so who really cares.
As for the women, they're also surprisingly good considering that it's a strip club. For those who are confused by that statement, allow me to let you in on a secret: Strippers are generally not very good looking. For whatever reason, this is not common knowledge, but it should be. As for these girls, they're actually generally attractive. They don't necessarily "dance" so much as "walk around the stage with a bit of swagger, then rub their boobs in customers' faces when the green comes out."
If you want to have a good time, you could end up dropping $100 easily for some breakfast, since nude table dances are $40 and, well, the girls work hard for the money. But remember, you're hung over, and these girls are there to help you through your pain. If you bring enough cash and set a limit for yourself before entering, you'll be in for an unusually exciting morning.
