In Brown men’s basketball’s introductory press conference at Ivy Madness yesterday afternoon — ahead of the semifinal game against a heavily favored, reigning champion Princeton squad — star Kino Lilly Jr. ’25 said, “I don’t think we’re the underdogs.”
On Feb. 16, the Brown men’s basketball team seemed dead in the water. After a loss to the Princeton Tigers, they held a 2-6 conference record with only six games left to play in the regular season.
On Sunday, the fencing team took up arms at Brookville, New York in the NCAA Northeast Regionals. Despite having some of the lower-seeded duelers, the Bears managed to bring home some surprising upsets and qualifications for the NCAA championships.
