Samantha Cohen '09 and Chloe Le Marchand '09 respectively shucked seven and 11 ears of corn in two minutes in the third annual Brown Dining Shuck Off on the Main Green Tuesday. Rob Sand '05.5 (not pictured), from Iowa, held the winning record at 24 ears. Approximately 100 students shucked1440 ears of corn from Mello's farm stand in Tiverton, R.I. for today's "Local Motion" dinner at the Sharpe Refectory and Verney-Wooley dining halls. The dinner, organized by Sustainable Food Initiative and Brown University Dining Services, will highlight food from local Rhode Island farms.
