HOPE on the green

Around 20 students, community activists and members of Housing Opportunities for People Everywhere, including Aaron Glieberman '08, Geoff Gusoff '07 and Erin Kelly '07, slept in tents on the Main Green Tuesday night to raise awareness about homelessness and hunger in Rhode Island.

"Half of Rhode Islanders are either not housed or spend 30 percent of their income on housing," said HOPE member JT Do '07 (not pictured). The tent-out will continue until 6 p.m. today.

"Hopefully we can give (students) information about what's going on and how they can get involved for change," said Gusoff.
