Three All-New Englanders were named from the No. 7 women's sailing team as they prepare to head to nationals. Meris Tombari '08 made the All-New England crew as well as being named to the ICSA All-Academic Second Team in 2007. Charlotte Lipschitz '10 earned a First Team All-New England Skipper honor, and Elizabeth Barry '11 followed her up at the same position with a Second Team All-New England honor. The women's team will be hosting the Intercollegiate Sailing Association Women's Nationals May 26 to 28 at the New York Yacht Club in Newport. It will be the team's first national appearance since 2005.
The No. 6 co-ed team is traveling to the University of Southern California this weekend to compete in their national semifinals. If they win there, they will have a chance to compete at the ICSA National Dinghy Championship June 2 to 4 in Newport as well. They finished seventh at nationals last year.
