The women's crew team pulled off yet another victory in the Charles River Challenge on Saturday. The Bears won all six of their races despite strong winds.

The second varsity eight won by even larger margins, finishing with a time of 6:33.20 - almost 12 seconds before the next boat finished. The second varsity boats from Gonzaga and BU took away times of 6:45.00 and 6:46.40, respectively.

In the third varsity four "A" race, Bruno once again beat out Gonzaga and BU, scoring a time of 7:16.30, while in the third varsity four "B," the Bears did just as well, finishing ahead of Notre Dame and BU in 7:25.20. Brown's novice eight took first place easily, beating Notre Dame by nearly 20 seconds, with the Huskies and Terriers even further behind. Rounding out the day, the second novice four also won, defeating rowers from Texas and Northeastern with a time of 7:46.90.

Brown is currently ranked No. 11 in the nation by Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association/US Rowing Top-20. The Bears' next competition will be Cornell and Columbia, whom they face on Saturday in Ithaca, N.Y.
